About Dr. Deborah Cipp
After more than 40 years of dedicated service, Dr. Cipp has retired from practice. A graduate of the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry (1984), Dr. Cipp began her career in Listowel alongside Dr. Fretz and has been a valued part of the community ever since.
With a strong academic background in genetics and a passion for patient care—especially in pediatrics, geriatrics, and contact lenses—Dr. Cipp earned a reputation for her clinical excellence and genuine compassion. Her patients have long appreciated her thoughtful approach, attentive listening, and the personalized care she brought to every visit.
Dr. Cipp now enjoys a well-earned retirement with her husband Paul, surrounded by their beloved pets. She will be deeply missed by colleagues and patients alike, and we wish her all the best in this next chapter.
